I'm glad so many people liked the kitty cat coloring pages.
I've
been thinking a lot about kindness lately. It can be found
if you look for it. It could be the person that keeps
the bird feeder filled year round, the young person that
holds the door open for my mom, the grocery clerk that
offers to help with the heavy boxes.
And
it's important to teach our children to be kind. A long
time ago now, when our son was a Cub Scout the favorite
thing that the boys did was help paint and fix up an old
lady's house. That was better to them that all the outings
and carnivals, treats, fishing trips and camp outs. They
liked all those fun things but helping do something good
for someone else was the thing that they remember even
now, ten years later.
