Live each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each. ~ Henry David Thoreau

The finest qualities of our nature, like the bloom on fruits, can be preserved only by the most delicate handling. Yet we do not treat ourselves nor one another thus tenderly. ~ Henry David Thoreau

Hello and hello!

Have you ever started a project that ended up being way more complicated than you thought? I got this wild idea that I could set up a little online store so people could download digital scrapbook designs. It sounded simple enough.

Then I found out there were a million things that I had to figure out first, like how to make the files, how to deliver them, how to collect the money, well, everything! That part was fun, though time consuming. I've sold some things which was very exciting. Now comes the really challenging part, making things to go in the store.

Here's what I have so far...

But the further that I've gone down this path the more that I have discovered how much I need to learn. I'm such a noob. I have some good friends help me. (Patricia and DBW, I'm looking at you.) but I want to learn more.

So what I'm asking is, if you think of anything that I need to know or do, send me an email. Suggestions? Scrapbooky things you'd really like to have but can't find. Tell me what you like, your favorite color, a cool quote, your favorite animal. If you know someone that is a scrapbooking fanatic forward this email and ask them.

I'm all ears.

Best thoughts,
Marilyn

I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish humble tasks as though they were great and noble. The world is moved along, not only by the mighty shoves of its heroes, but also by the aggregate of the tiny pushes of each honest worker.
