Turtles
and tortoises are wonderful. They plod along and slowly but surely
get things done. In the midst of my plodding I’ve managed
to put together a few new toys….

Hello
and hello!
I’ve been spending every spare minute getting ready for
the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators
conference in Los Angeles the first of August. There is so much
to do! I’m reworking my portfolio and making promotional
materials. Lots of wonderful writers, artists and editors will
be there and I am so excited I could just about burst!
